Our Story

Eser Kucukseyhan

Co-founder & Macaron Chef

My family and I began an exciting new adventure when we relocated from Istanbul, Türkiye, to Minnesota in 2013. Having spent part of my childhood in France and later becoming a French teacher, I was always fascinated with the beauty of French pastries, especially macarons.

In 2017, I decided to turn that lifelong passion into something real. As a completely self-taught pastry chef, I opened my macaron business in Minnesota with a cottage-food producer registration and started making macarons from home. The European recipes I used for macaron flavors, as well as the beautiful designs of my macarons, quickly caught a lot of attention across the local community and social media.

In 2020, my husband and I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, due to my husband’s new job. This is where I used the opportunity to elevate my home-based business into a licensed macaron business, serving customers all over the US with nationwide shipping. Soon after, my husband, Oguz (Oz), joined me full-time in managing our business.

In August 2024, to reunite with our family members and friends, we decided to move our business back to Minnesota where it all started. Now, we are proudly producing our macarons in a commercial kitchen in Minneapolis. We are so happy to be back in Minnesota, which we see as our second home after Istanbul.
